Image Restoration to Fine Art
Do you have old family photos tucked away? That faded or damaged image can become a beautiful keepsake to hand down through generations, or the perfect gift for any occasion.
Learn more about our restoration process below, and when you're ready, contact us for a personalized, complimentary consultation about your project.

It starts with an image...
When choosing an image to restore, consider the story it has to tell. Photos share their stories through their details: old cars, furniture, or toys; people engaged in activities they love; or old family portraits or wedding photos - these memories deserve to be preserved and shared!
No matter how damaged a photo, if it tells your story, it's worth a consultation! We can restore fading, repair damaged areas or creases, and even recreate missing pieces of an image.

We restore your image, and its story...
During the restoration process your image can become even better than the original.
Backgrounds can be changed; unwanted elements (including people) can be removed; eyes can be opened or eyeglasses removed; colour photos can become black and white or sepia; and hand-tinting can add selective or complete colour to a black and white or faded image. We can even combine elements from several photos to create an artistic whole.
During our consultation process, we'll present you with possibilities for your image.

Display or gift your finished piece...
At Cheryl Beck Studios, finding the best way to display your unique piece is our specialty.
Wall display options include canvas, aluminum, and maple wood prints - each adding a unique finish to your piece. Or we can create an acrylic mount or curved metal print for your desk. We can even put your image on a small ornament, keychain, or mug for you to gift your friends or loved ones.
"This picture of myself and my mom has turned out as clear as if taken yesterday. The poor original had faded so much it resembled what has been happening to my memory. Now, however, its sharp details and contrasts have made it possible to see the happiness on our faces and the leaves on the trees. Those must have been good times. Too bad you can’t repeat your process to faded memories. Thanks so much."

"I am just touching base with you in regards to the photo you restored for my daughter. I gave it to her recently and she absolutely loved it. She couldn't believe what a fabulous job you had done to bring color back to an almost white picture. Thank you so much for your beautiful work."
